General Information

Important for .COM.AR domain management
If you'd like to use our services to manage your .COM.AR domains you can use our trustee service at no extra charge. Unfortunately, as of now we cannot offer services to manage .COM.AR domains without using our trustee.
The .COM.AR registry has no registrar model, thus transfers are not possible. If you would like to manage your .COM.AR domains through us and transfer them to RRPproxy, the domain owner data needs to be modified and our trustee ID 50028303146 will be inserted.
This can be done at https://nic.ar/and requires a login using the respective CUIL or CUIT number and the corresponding password. A full howto is available at: https://punto.ar/files/transferencia-nic.pdf
CUIL (Código Único de Identificación Laboral) and CUIT (Clave Única de Identificación Tributaria) are identification numbers given in Argentina by the AFIP (Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos) to identify companies, organizations and individuals. CUIL is used by individuals, CUIT is for companies/entities. All .COM.AR domains are directly linked to a CUIL or CUIT at registry level.
COM.AR domains for local as well as foreign registrants need a respective CUIL or CUIT as well and can be obtained through https://punto.ar/. The registry offers a dedicated page for foreign registrants at https://punto.ar/extranjeros/
