  • Maximum number of 3 nameservers allowed.

Transfers

.SG Transfers are possible. Upon successfully transfering a domain, it is automatically renewed for one year. The registration period is extended by one year.

Transfer Procedure

Remove the "clientTransferProhibited" status of the domain through a ModifyDomain command.

TransferIN from another registrar (NOT an IPMirror partner) to RRPproxy

  • Transfer will be authorized via authcode. The submission of all 4 contact details is mandatory. Please see example below:
[COMMAND]
(required)
command         = transferDomain
domain          = example.sg
auth            = Registrar Transfer Authcode
ownercontact0   = [CONTACT]
admincontact0 = [CONTACT] (optional|if you are using our Trustee Service please do not add a P-Handle)
techcontact0    = [CONTACT]
billingcontact0 = [CONTACT]
                (optional)
X-SG-RCBID            = [RegNumber]
X-SG-ADMIN-SINGPASSID = [SingPassID]

EOF

TransferIN from another IPMirror partner to RRPproxy

  • Transfer will be authorized via 'Account-Transfer Domain Password' that can be viewed in your IPMIRROR account. The submission of all 4 contact details is mandatory. Unfortunately, it is not possible to automatically update the contact handles during this process. Please update the contact details after a successful TransferIN by using a ModifyDomain command. Please see example below:
[COMMAND]
(required)
command         = transferDomain
domain          = example.sg
auth            = Account-Transfer Domain Password
ownercontact0   = [CONTACT]
admincontact0 = [CONTACT] (optional|if you are using our Trustee Service please do not add a P-Handle)
techcontact0    = [CONTACT]
billingcontact0 = [CONTACT]
                (optional)
X-SG-RCBID            = [RegNumber]
X-SG-ADMIN-SINGPASSID = [SingPassID]

EOF

TransferOUT to another registrar (NOT an IPMirror partner)

  • In order to process the transfer you must request an authcode. This is only possible, if the admin contact is not our standard IPMIRROR local presence contact (trustee). If you use IPMIRROR as admin contact, you must request a change of the admin contact at first. The new contact must be a local contact in Singapore. Please use the ModifyDomain command below. Usually, the request will be processed within one business day.

  • Change admin contact / local presence contact:
[COMMAND]
(required)
command               = modifyDomain
domain                = yourdomain.sg
admincontact0 = [your local presence contact]
X-SG-RCBID            = [RegNumber]
X-SG-ADMIN-SINGPASSID = [SingPassID]

EOF
  • Please see Transfer notes regarding valid values of the X-SG-ADMIN-SINGPASSID
  • Then you can request the authcode via RRPproxy web interface or API:
[COMMAND]
(required)
command = setAuthcode
domain  = yourdomain.sg

EOF
  • Afterwards the authcode will be sent as an event and additionally be shown in the StatusDomain response. (X-SG-TRANSFER-OUT-CODE)
  • In the webinterface, please follow "Tools --> Request authcode"

TransferOUT to another IPMirror partner

  • For an internal IPMirror transfer you'll need the so called "Account-Transfer Domain Password", which can be obtained by a StatusDomain command or through the webinterface:
[COMMAND]
(required)
command = StatusDomain
domain  = yourdomain.SG

EOF
  • The response will contain the following extension:
    property[x-sg-account-transfer-authcode][0] = ...
  • In the webinterface you'll find this transfer code under the description ".SG Account (IPMIRROR) transfer auth code:"
  • It is not necessary to change the admin contact.

Transfer notes

X-SG-RCBID - For companies located in Singapore, the corresponding company registration number has to be given.

X-SG-ADMIN-SINGPASSID - If the admin contact is a natural person located in Singapore, the corresponding Singapore Personal Access ID has to be given.

The format of the SingPassID is:
X1234567X - where X is an upper case letter at the beginning and end of a seven digit string
In case of a foreign organization, it is possible to use the SGNICID:
SGNICID-X12-345678 - the SGNICID will look like this example

Due to the fact that the admin update is handled manually, it can take up to 24 hours. If the update has already been processed can be checked by a whois lookup.

Transfer Time

A transfer takes 7.0 days to complete.

Restores

.SG domains can generally be restored. A restore can be requested via API command or via webinterface.

[COMMAND]
(required)
command = restoredomain
domain  = yourdomain.sg

EOF
