(API Command reference » TransferDomain)

.co.za has a special way of confirming or denying a transfer. The registry makes use of a voting system, which involves owner contact and registrar.

Once a transfer has been initiated, the current owner and current registrar of the domain will be notified of the transfer request. Both have 5 days to accept this request. If none of them accepts, or if one objection is made, the transfer will be denied. If the owner accepts, the transfer is completed instantaneously.

Transfer notes

A .co.za domain name cannot be transferred during its Anniversary Period. This period is two (2) days prior to its expiration up to the fifth (5th) of the following month.

Domain Restore

(API Command reference » RestoreDomain)
command = RestoreDomain
domain  = yourdomain.co.za

  • Pre-configured nameservers
