Domain Restrictions

  • NIC.MX performs name server checks. When updating name servers, please make sure that they are correctly configured to serve the corresponding zone. If they are not an update will be denied by NIC.MX and you will be informed by our system via event.
  • If you are using MX or US as country code in one of the contact handles (owner, admin, tech or billing contact), the "state" value becomes mandatory. In case of MX, the abbreviations(ISO-3166) of the different states cannot be used, wherefore the full name has to be given. The different states of Mexico can be found here.

Fulfillment Info

FTLD .net.mx is a Fulfillment TLD. Fullfilment TLDs (FTLDs) are registered through a manual registration process. The manual registration process might involve documents, depending on respective registry regulations, and are therefore not automated for real-time registrations and real-time updates. Updates might cause additional costs!
