Please clarify the status of the registrant's email address prior to contacting the support team because they will ask you to do so, if not already done.
  • In order to update one of the registrant details, except the owner name, a written request is required in which they ask to update the registrant details(e.g. address/phone/email)
    • The request needs to be on company letterhead paper, signed with a company stamp and a signature from the owner as shown in a whois lookup is also required.

Domain Restore

(API Command reference » RestoreDomain)

Domain Restrictions

The owner (registrant) and admincontact of a .org.uz domain name should be a legal entity‎ (could be a person, or a company or an association):

  • In case of a person, full name should be supplied (no abbreviations like J. Doe).‎
  • In case of a ‎company the relevant suffix such as "Ltd" (or "Inc". "GMBH" etc.) should be ‎specified.
  • In case of a ‎registered association the suffix "RA" should be specified.

ISOC has added a new holder validation procedure(2020/02). They randomly select new domain registrations, on a daily basis, in order to validate the holder information. An email is sent directly to the registrant's contact email address.

  • If the registrant is a company or an association, they are asking for a company certificate.
  • If the registrant is a natural person, they are asking for a photo ID

Supported IDN Scripts

The following IDN scripts are supported by .org.uz.
Provide the LANGUAGE TAG corresponding to your desired IDN within the AddDomain command as X-IDN-LANGUAGE extension.

Get more information of "IDN tables", which represent permitted code points (letters) allowed for Internationalised Domain Name registrations in particular registries on IANA Repository of IDN Practices.
